Myriam Bedard was born on 22nd December 1969. She won two gold medals in Olympics.
She pursued her passion for biathlon from the age of 15. Myriam Bedard learned the ropes of the trade from Canadian Army.

Myriam Bedard learned the basic skills of shooting and skiing for improving her skills in biathlon.
Myriam Bedard also won a series of biathlon championship in 1988. She participated in World Junior Championship in 1989. She stood fourth in the competition. She won the championship of World Cup in Biathlon.

Myriam Bedard won a lot of medals for her stupendous performance in various competitions of biathlon. She won a gold medal in the Olympics of 1994.
Myriam Bedard emerged as the winner in the two sections of biathlon namely the 15 kilometer and 7.5 kilometer event. She wounded her back in 1998,as a result of which her performance deteriorated.
She was a very diligent and passionate player. She devoted most of her life for enhancing her skills in biathlon. Her love for biathlon was so intense that she participated in both the sections of biathlon in the Olympics of 1998.
Myriam Bedard stood 33rd in the biathlon for a distance of 7.5 kilometer in 1998 Olympics.
She also stood 50th in the biathlon for a distance of 15 kilometer in 1998 Olympics.
She became a player of a great stature by virtue of her hard work and dedication.
