Christa Luding

Christa Luding was born on 4 December 1959 in Germany. She won the gold medals in Olympics in cycling and skating.

About Christa Luding:

Christa Luding is the only woman in the history of sports who received medals in both Winter and Summer Olympics in the same year.

She participated in skating in 1980. She secured the12th and 18th positions in the 500 meter and 1000 meter categories respectively. She received the gold medal in 500 meter category in Sarajevo Winter Games of 1984.

Christa Luding was passionately involved in the sports of cycling and skating. She is a source of inspiration for many sportswomen. Christa Luding achieved success in her respective fields by virtue of her hard work and dedication.

Christa Luding secured the rank 5th in the 1000 meter category.
She won the silver medal in the 500 meter category in Calgary Winter Games.
