Andre Aggassi is one of the famous tennis players of the world. He was the former world tennis champion. He is also a Olympic gold medalist in tennis tournament. He was away from the tennis field for couple of years because of sciatica caused by two bulging discs in his back. He also had spondylolisthesis and a bone spur which forced Andre Aggassi to retire from professional tennis on September 3, 2006. Aggassi is married to one of the famous tennis player of the world Steffi Graff and has two children. Andre Aggassi started playing professional tennis in 1986. He won his first singles title in 1987. In the same year he was ranked 25. In 1988 he won six more tournaments. By the end of that year he won US $2 million by playing just 43 tournaments.
His style statement became very popular in the tennis filed. As a young player he grew his hair and sported earring which became a very hotel style. In 1988 he he reached the semifinals of both US Open and French Open. In 1990 he reached the final of his first grand slam at French Open. His second Grand Slam final, the US open was against Pete Sampras. Aggassi's first Grand Slam came at Wimbledon. In1993 Andre Aggassi won only the doubles title in Cincinnati Masters. His gold medal win in Olympic games and various titles made him one of the most successful tennis players of the world.
